Here is our vision project video which highlights some of the key aspects of being a student in 2018. It was super fun to share insights into student life and collaborate with the class!

https://www.ted.com/talks/sherry_turkle_alone_together#t-1165898 I think Sherry Turkle made valid points towards our relationship with technology leaving us isolated. Her comments about people using technology in inappropriate circumstances like funerals, boardrooms and at dinners is a perfect example of being present physically but not mentally. We are putting ourselves at a mental distance to those who surround us, as we escape into our phones for distraction from life. If we have an honest conversation with each other about extensive technology use, it could result in our society finding a healthy balance between quality time with ourselves and those who surround us.
